We provide professional Reel Mower Sharpening. We do it all!

We sharpen and maintain reel type mowers from the little push reels all the way to the huge pull behind gang reels and more.

We offer sharpening, backlapping, repair and parts for TRU-CUT, Trimmer, Mclane, Craftsman and Locke reel mowers. We also sharpen Toro, John Deere and Ransom tri-plex mowers.

Relief Grind

Relief Grinding allows for us to put a relief angle on to your reel blades. This allows the reels to be backlapped a number of times before having to be relief ground again. This extends the life on the reel, by not having to cut so much blade away every time it is sharpened.

Backlapp

Backlapping is the type of sharpening that is available when there is an existing slope of a relief grind. It allows us to pull an edge to the existing slope that has dulled by putting the mower on a machine and rotating the blades in reverse with compound added to pull the edge to the top or front of the blade.

Spin Grind

Spin grinding where relief grinding brings a relief slope.... spin grinding grinds the reel to a 90 degree angle. This particular grind is used on larger pull type gang reels and greens type mowers.
