Reel Works is a family-owned, faith-based, small business that prides itself on treating every one of its customers just like family.


Opened in early 1999, by then owner, Steven Anderson with the goal and vision to not only to provide for his family but, provide for the landscaping community (whether you were a landscaping business or the turf head in your neighborhood that wanted the perfect lawn) an affordable and timely sharpen and maintenance for your reel-type mower.


Reel Works sharpens and maintains over 5000 Reel Type Mowers a Year. From your Scotts Push Type all the way to the Jacobsen Pull Type Tractor Gangs. 


Reel Works has developed a stellar reputation not only here in our local community but, nationwide. We have customers that call for advice and drive from many states away for us to take care of their equipment or troubleshoot problems. 

In early 2019, Steve decided to retire and sold the business to his son-in-law, Anthony Boggus, and daughter, Kristen Boggus. 


Kristen, the unseen hero of Reel Works, keeps everything together. She keeps the paperwork, timecards, payroll, taxes, and Anthony together. She is what keeps the ship floating. When you come in you may be lucky and catch that infectious smile she has.


Anthony has been with Reel Works for the last 17 years and knows the business inside and out, always busy and running around like a mad man but, never too busy to stop and see how you are doing or how he can help you. He NEVER forgets a name or a face and that is the beauty of Reel Works. We still have the heart of a Mom & Pop Shop but, give you the care and expertise of a major corporation.


So, as we go into this next chapter in the story of Reel Works we are excited to see where God takes us and we are thankful that all of our new and our loyal repeat customers are along for the ride.

If you're looking for expert reel mower maintenance, Reel Works is the place to go. Our services include relief grinding the blades for extended edge life and precise scissor cutting, as well as adjusting the blade to the bedknife. We also perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing air filters, sparkplugs, and oil, greasing points, and adjusting clutches and chains. For more extensive repairs, we offer affordable solutions ranging from carburetor cleanings to complete TRU-CUT C27 rear end rebuilds. Let us handle all your reel mower servicing needs.
